I just purchased two new sending units for my 1947 Bonanza from AVSTAT Aviation, in Van Nuys, CA. P/N 35-380141-15 ( works on 20 and 25 gallon main fuel cells). They advertise in the ABS magazine, 888-287-8283. These are a new style unit and cost around $250 each. There is a place in Lock Haven, PA that rebuilds existing units at about $150 each. After taking a look at my old units, I decided it was worth buying the new ones. If you have a 2 1/4" instrument hole available, I recommend the Aerospace Logic, Graphic/Digital gage. They are STC'd and work real nice. Just be sure you get the model for 0-44 ohm sending units. You calibrate them during installation and the digital readout is accurate to within 1 gallon. These are sold by Aircraft Spruce and also can be found on Ebay for around $340. I know $850 sounds like a lot to spend on fuel gages, but the system is so accurate there's no need for a digital fuel flow gage! Good Luck, Charlie
