Customer Feedback:

Excellent service for my recent Bonanza annual. Experienced, honest, and extremely pleasant to deal with. I will return here as often as possible.

Lawson Barber and his crew are absolutely first class. They do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it. And for a fair price. I have adopted this shop.

Customer Feedback:

An exceptionally good avionics shop. The owner, Tom Rogers, is also a pilot, CFI, and aircraft owner. He will advise you honestly about the best options, and has very fair pricing for the quality of work. He also has great articles on his web site, and very aggressive pricing in his mail order business.

Ditto the previous respondent's comments. I had a mode-C problem earlier this year. Another avionics shop (at nearby Santa Barbara) wanted to simply replace my encoder to the tune of $800. Tom and his crew painstakingly *diagnosed* my problem, and narrowed it to one bad connector pin, which was fixed for all of $8.00. This shop will get all of my avionics business in the future.

Relocated to the south side of the airport this year, with 22,000 square feet of hangar and the nicest customer amenities anywhere, this is an outstanding shop. The website is at www.avionicswest.com , and has some pictures of the new facility and a story about Tom's decision to expand rather than retire.

Arguably the best avionics shop on the West Coast, although not the least expensive! Tom and his crew did a complete panel makeover on my airplane; check out the "Custom Panels" section of their website. Outstanding craftsmanship, excellent follow-through and customer service. The only major work I've ever had done on my plane where everything worked since the day it left the shop! I've been back since and would recommend this avionics shop to anyone.
