I am in the market for a spare E-225 Engine to have Overhauled and on
standby to replace the current one in my Bonanza.
My Bonanza is equipped with the E-225 which has an Hartzel Hydraulic Prop conversion.
Should I should limit my spare E-225 Engine search only to Hartzel Hydraulic prop equipped engines?
If not then, how much of a pain is it to modify a Beech Electric Prop E-225 engine to work with my Hartzel Hydraulic Prop.
Thanks

I am not a prop expert but the basic engine to overhaul would be completely the same other than where the prop gov mounts (behind the fuel pump) and the rest of the prop assy. Other than that everything else should be the same |
