Out of curiosity, how reliable are e-series engines based on statisitc or by personal expeirence?

They are very reliable and have been around for over fifty years. They more than often will last to TBO and beyond if flown and taken care of by the owner.

The only thing I know of that's more reliable is a John Deere tractor! The E series is built like a tank! In more than 25 years of flying behind one - it has never failed to get me home!
